Rev. Jan Mathieson, Moderator of the Presbytery of Glasgow, Joins Us for Lunch, Banter, and a Slice of Roly-Poly

We were delighted to welcome Rev. Jan Mathieson, Moderator of the Presbytery of Glasgowhttps://www.presbyteryofglasgow.org.uk/, to LHM today. As the largest Presbytery in Scotland, Glasgow is fortunate to have such a compassionate leader, and we felt honoured to have her spend time with us. Jan, who previously served as the Minister of Williamwood Church, took the time to enjoy lunch and connect with people in our day centre, where she embraced the lively atmosphere and, in her own words, “enjoyed the banter.”

Our lunch, graciously prepared by Oregano and Eagle Lodge, was a treat for everyone, as always. Rev. Mathieson enjoyed her meal and even indulged in a cheeky wee slice of jam roly-poly with custard! (Hopefully, we haven’t revealed too much!) It was a lovely afternoon filled with good food and great company.

We are honoured by Jan’s visit and were thrilled to show her the heart of LHM. She knows now that she doesn’t need an invitation—she is welcome any time. We may not be able to offer her jam roly-poly, but the banter? Always!
