Day Centre

People use the Day Centre for a variety of different reasons.

For many, attending our Day Centre is the first step in reducing the feelings of isolation and loneliness which are often caused by living a chaotic life, homelessness as well as mental illness.

Whatever the reason, our team works hard to develop trusted relations to help identify the individual needs and wants of the men and women who come to us for help and advice.

LHM's Day Centre is a safe and welcoming environment where people can access a variety of support, including::

• An extensive suite of activities to meet a variety of needs and interests

• Food

• Help and support on practical issues including filling in benefit forms, housing applications as well as referrals to other agencies

• Advocacy

• Toiletries

• Emergency clothing 

• Barber

• Free WiFi

We regularly review our approach and service provision, consulting with those who rely on us to ensure it remains relevant and engaging
