Working Together
People who are homeless, vulnerable, or socially excluded often face a range of interconnected challenges, including substance dependency, involvement in street culture, mental health issues, unemployment, strained relationships, financial difficulties, and housing instability. This combination of linked issues is known as Multiple Exclusion Homelessness—and we’re here to support people through every aspect of it.

No single sector, charity, or organisation can tackle these challenges alone. With so many in Glasgow affected by homelessness, we’re committed to working alongside various stakeholders and partner organisations to provide comprehensive, empathetic and relevant support.

Volunteers are crucial in the running of our organisation. We have a fantastic team of people who give their time to us regularly, and we work together very well. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, are from 18 -70+ and all bring something unique to the service.

Working together also means collaborating closely with our client group. Their experiences, feedback, and evolving needs are central to how we shape our services. By listening to those we serve, we ensure that our support remains relevant, responsive, and truly reflective of their needs, helping us to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and heard

If you know someone who might benefit from our services, please feel free to call in with them or let them know they’re more than welcome to come along. Our doors are always open, and no matter the reason someone comes to us, we’re here to listen with compassion and offer support. We don’t require referral forms, there is no formal process—everyone is welcome to drop in and access our services directly. If you want to find out more information before coming along please contact Chris or June on 0141 552 0285 or email us at: enquiries@lhm-glasgow.org.uk.
